Risk Disclaimer
Last updated: October 2026
Custom manufacturing involves tolerances that mass retail does not. This page sets out, plainly,
the risks that come with personalised production so you know what to expect before you approve a proof.
Colour and material variation
- Inks, threads and coatings look different on fabric, metal, glass, leather and paper. A Pantone match on one
material will not be identical on another, and screen display is not a colour reference. - Natural materials (cotton, canvas, wood, leather, stone) vary in tone and grain between batches.
- Small colour drift between a sample and the bulk run is normal within production tolerance. If exact colour
is critical, agree a physical reference sample before production.
Dimensions and capacity
Stated sizes, weights and volumes are supplier figures and subject to normal manufacturing tolerance. Print
areas in the designer are guides; exact placement is confirmed on the proof you approve.
Artwork quality
Output quality depends on the file you supply. Low-resolution images, screenshots and unconverted fonts can
print soft, pixelated or with substituted typefaces. We will flag files we consider unprintable before
production, but we cannot improve resolution that is not in the source file.
Lead times and shipping
- Production times are estimates from proof approval, not guaranteed delivery dates.
- Carrier transit times, customs clearance, weather, port congestion and peak-season backlogs are outside our
control. Build in buffer for hard-deadline events. - International shipments may attract import duties and taxes. Unless your quotation says DDP, these are
payable by the receiver.
Use of the products
You are responsible for ensuring the product and its customisation are suitable and lawful for your intended
use and market, including any safety, labelling or packaging requirements that apply to you.
Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control — natural disaster,
epidemic, industrial action, material shortage, power or transport failure, or government action. We will tell
you as soon as such an event affects your order and agree a revised plan with you.
If something goes wrong
Claims for damage, defect or shortage must be raised within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order
number — see Returns & Refunds. Questions before ordering:
contact us.
