Ordering branded merchandise in bulk looks complicated from the outside — too many products, too many options, too many chances to get the logo wrong. It is not. Once you know the five stages, every order at MingKos follows the same path, whether you are buying 25 polo shirts or 5,000 printed boxes.
1. Send us the brief
You do not need a finished specification. Tell us three things and we can quote: what product, how many, and when you need it. A photo or a link to a similar item is enough if you do not know the exact model name. If you already have artwork, attach it — if you do not, we can still quote and you can send the file later.
2. Quote and product confirmation
We come back with a unit price for your quantity, the setup or tooling cost if there is one, the estimated freight, and the production lead time. Prices are quantity-tiered: the more you order, the lower the unit price. This is also the moment to confirm material, colour and print method, because those three choices drive most of the cost.
3. Artwork and digital proof
Send your logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG). If you only have a PNG, it needs to be 300 dpi at the final print size. We place the artwork on a product template and send a digital proof showing position and size. Nothing goes to production until you approve that proof in writing.
4. Sample (optional but recommended)
For new products, large runs or anything with a colour-critical logo, order one physical sample first. Samples take roughly 3–7 working days. You check the real item — fabric hand-feel, print adhesion, colour accuracy — before committing to the full quantity.
5. Production, QC and shipping
After sample approval, production takes about 7–15 working days for most items; orders with custom tooling, engraving or complex assembly take longer. We photograph the finished run before it ships. Shipment goes by express courier for small parcels or by sea/air freight for large ones, with tracking supplied the same day it leaves.
What slows an order down
- Late artwork changes. Every change after the proof resets the queue position.
- Low-resolution logos. A 72 dpi web PNG has to be redrawn, which takes days.
- Unconfirmed colours. “Blue” is not a colour code — give us a Pantone reference or a physical swatch.
- Tight seasonal windows. October to December is peak season; book earlier than you think you need to.
